Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring?

All children must bring their own pencil case (to include: plain pencil, colouring pencils, sharpener, rubber, pritt stick and felt tip pens) We cannot share this equipment! There will be paint brushes and glue brushes which will be disinfected in between each activity.

What do they eat?

Please bring a kosher/milky/pareve lunch every day and a labelled water bottle with enough water for the day. We do not have any facility to provide your child lunch if this is forgotten. WE ARE A STRICTLY MEAT, NUT AND KIWI FREE ZONE. These items must not be brought into camp under any circumstances as we have children who are severely allergic. Please ensure your child’s lunch is clearly labelled. Please provide a snack to be eaten at approx. 11.15am

What should my child wear?

All attendees should wear something comfortable e.g. Tracksuit or loose skirt over leggings, with Camp T-shirt and trainers. Boys shorts / tracksuit and Camp T-shirt. Suitable footwear for dance & sport is important so trainers or plimsolls are ideal. (NO crocs / Uggs / flip flops etc...)

How do I get my child a Camp T-Shirt?

We have some camp uniform t-shirts available to purchase at £12. Campers can wear camp t-shirts from any year, or any DWL t-shirt but MUST WEAR CLEAN CLOTHES EVERY DAY. Please bear in mind that the children may get dirty throughout the day so please do not send your child in pretty dresses or their best clothes!

My child has an allergy and other medical issues. Who do I tell?

There is an allergy section in the registration form, please let us know before camp begins whether or not your child suffers from any allergies or has any special dietary requirements or medical issues. This information is passed onto your child's leader.

Where do I park? Am I allowed to walk my child in?

Due to COVID, unfortunately no parents are allowed into the building at any time. We will be operating for week 1 & 2, a drop and drive service where members of our team will greet you by the main gates and usher your children in. We will run them to you at pick up too.
